pdf Structure and reconstruction of the subsidence dynamics of potential oil and gas structures of the Pre-Yenisey sedimentary basin
A model of the structure and subsidence dynamics of Upper Precambrian and Cambrian potential oil and gas structures of the Pre-Yenisey sedimentary basin, which is one of the most promising but poorly studied objects in the basement of the West Siberian Plate, is presented. Using regional seismic exploration and deep well drilling data, paleogeographic reconstructions and lithofacies analysis, their structure and main patterns of spatial distribution were established, and their relationship with oil and gas structures in the west of the Siberian platform was shown. For the first time, paleoreconstructions of the formation and subsidence of sedimentary structures, including those partially or completely denuded in subsequent epochs, were performed for this region. The time of hydrocarbon generation stages has been estimated for the main potentially oil and gas-generating strata. The study results are important for regional assessment of the basin's petroleum potential and development of a resource development strategy in this region.
