pdf  Lithogenetic systematization and formation conditions of the Wenlockian sequences belonging to the Subpolar Urals and the Chernyshev Ridge
The results of lithogenetic research of Wenlockian rocks of the Subpolar Urals and the southern part of the Chernyshev Ridge are presented. The lithotypes of the Wenlockian carbonate and carbonate-terrigenous rocks are divided into genetic groups according to the processes of their formation. During the Wenlockian the sedimentation basin was characterized by frequent fluctuations of sea level, facies, and by tectonic instability. We present paleogeographic profiles for early-, middle- and late Wenlockian time.
