pdf  Petroleum potential and hydrocarbon development prospects of the east of Russia
The petroleum potential and the specificity of the petroleum regions’ resources concentration (Siberian platform and Far East basins) have been considered. The regions’ hydrocarbons extraction potential and the prospects of rapid resources development and renewal have been highlighted. 45-50 million tons of annual oil production and 85-100 billion cubic meter of gas production can be reached on the basis of well known Eastern Siberia and Far East fields by 2020.
Key words: Eastern Siberia, Far East, oil, gas, hydrocarbon resources.
