pdf  Stratigraphy and lithology of shale section of Kukruse Formation (Ordovician) - a source of unconventional hydrocarbons the west of Leningrad area
Stratigraphic characteristics and lithological structure of shale section of Kukruse Formation on the west of Leningrad area are presented. Eight sections of this formation in which we found a significant amount of faunal remains are described; the possibility of their use for the division and correlation of the layer sections is assessed.

Keywords: Ordovician, Kukruse Formation, Kukruse oil shales - Kukersite, trilobites, brachiopods, Leningrad area.
