| New classification of oil and gas reserves in Russia – application and difficulties | |
| In 2001, the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia started the elaboration of a new «Classification of oil and gas reserves and resources....». In 2005, this Classification with a state status was approved but without implementation. During the period 2007-2010 several research institutes and industrial companies had tested the applications and guidelines reliability of this Classification.
Testing of the Classification of reserves and resources (2005) applications of all fields in unlicensed area of Russia is presented.
