pdf  Structure of fold belts and prospects of discovery of large deposits in folded Pre-Urals
Study of the structure and oil and gas potential of fold belts of the world has shown that large oil and gas fields can be discovered within them after many decades of their prospecting due to the complexity of the structure. Using the experience of fold belts studying and new geophysical and drilling technologies can provide new large discoveries in folded Pre-Urals. This is supported by large prospective areas, proved productivity of their petroleum systems, and diversity of perspective objects. This area is characterized by developed oil and gas infrastructure, which will reduce exploration costs and reduce their duration.
