pdf  Metalliferous potential of oils – assessment of development prospects and possible ways of implementation
An assessment of prospects of associated resources development and its issues are analyzed on the example of vanadium and other metals. The results of analysis of vanadium resources in the largest accumulations of metalliferous oils and natural bitumen abroad and in oil and gas fields in the major provinces of Russia are presented, as well as the losses of vanadium reserves during development of metalliferous oils. Existing foreign and domestic technology of vanadium and other valuable metals extraction from oils, natural bitumen and refined products are analyzed; the most effective ones are highlighted. A set of basic actions for organization of highly profitable industrial production of vanadium and other rare and valuable metals extraction from oils in Russia is presented.
Key words: hydrocarbons, associated components, oil vanadium, rare metals, industrial development.
